X Sudoku takes the well-loved structure of a standard sudoku grid and introduces an extra layer of logic by requiring both main diagonals to contain every digit from 1 through 9. This straightforward addition makes the game feel familiar yet distinctly different from regular sudoku.

The basic rules remain: fill each row, column, and 3×3 box with digits 1 through 9 without repeating any number. In Sudoku X, you also have to ensure the two longest diagonals meet the same condition. That means when you place a number on a diagonal, you’re affecting multiple constraints at once — potentially opening up new deductions across rows, columns, and The Epoch Times other diagonal.
