As a pinball game, Marvel Pinball is as solid as they come. The physics featured in this game are identical to pinball machines you would find at your local arcade. Plus, you get to enter and record your high scores, compare them up against the world, compare them against your friends, and even the vibration feedback makes you feel that much closer to the real thing. You also have all the standards that come with a pinball table, including bumpers, rails, stand-up targets, etc. I especially like the fact that the game has the courtesy to move the Xbox Live notifications to the middle of the screen instead of at the bottom, because, if you know anything about pinball, you know that covering any part of the bottom of the screen could result in the loss of a ball. You lose three balls, and you’re out. Game o Con – With movies like Iron Man 2 , Spider-man 4 , The Incredible Hulk 2 , Thor , The Avengers and Captain America on the horizon, what does this mean for their development? Iron Man 2 is already in full swing so I doubt we see any type of delay with that one, but with no other pre-production or principle photography under way on some other films, could we see some eventual delay What do you think of this mega-acquisition of Marvel by Disney ? Does it make you as apprehensive as me for the future or elated that we may have an enormous opportunity to see more comic films in the futAs you can see there are a lot of different dimensions and incarnations of Spider-Man. I didn’t even touch on some of the more bizarre ones yet! I think Shattered Dimensions was a great idea and performed well enough to merit a sequel. Don’t be fooled true believers. The novelty of having Marvel characters wears off once you realize that this is in fact a pinball game. It is not only a pinball game, but a pretty challenging one to boot. If you’re a pinball fan, by all means this one is for you. If you’re not too big into pinball, then chances are you won’t be too impressed with this one. This is by all means not a bad game. However, I can’t say the same about it not being uninspi Pro – On the flip side, with Disney having such deep pockets, that means much more available funds to push MORE movies into production. It’s not like Disney is buying Marvel because they were threatened by Marvel’s market share and were trying to buy out the competition.
