In 2000 West’s body was rediscovered and revived. A conflagration in 1887 caused West’s contemporaries to imagine he had perished whereas his physique remained hidden and preserved for greater than a century. If the chaps who write these tales would get a bit extra naturalness into their yarns there would be extra published. “There is an astonishing lack of ‘naturalness’ in these stories that come to us by the mails. In 1913 “The Magazine Maker: An Informative Journal for Writers and Editors” printed an article about submitting stories to magazines, and shared the opinion that many such tales were of low high quality. There are numerous apparent gaps on this written document which indicate many other letters from Clemens to Fuller may but be found in non-public collections. Through the following many years Clemens and Fuller maintained a friendly correspondence. Research carried out by G. Ross Riggans in the records of the Storey County Nevada Recorder’s Office exhibits Fuller could have been involved in mining speculation throughout his time spent in Nevada.. Frank Fuller was born in Boston September 25, 1827, the son of a Biblical scholar John Smith Fuller who was a deacon in Dr. Lyman Beecher’s congregation.
